Electronic Live Scan is usually limited to people located in the state that requests the prints. For out-of-state applications, the agency typically asks for a fingerprint card that you mail according to its own instructions.

We can fingerprint you on any card provided by your requesting state or agency. Using Live Scan technology, we capture your prints digitally and print them directly onto the card, which gives cleaner, higher-quality results than rolling ink by hand and is recommended by the FBI whenever available.
